The Kauaʻi Historical Museum’s ʻUkulele Exhibit offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich musical heritage of the Hawaiian Islands. Showcasing a diverse collection of handcrafted ʻukuleles, historical instruments, and artifacts, the exhibit explores the evolution of the ʻukulele from its Portuguese origins to its deep-rooted significance in Hawaiian culture. Visitors can learn about influential ʻukulele makers, celebrated musicians, and the instrument’s role in shaping local and global music.
