Established in 1999 as a small retail store in Waikīkī. We then moved to the Pacific Beach Hotel and currently located in the Sheraton Waikīkī. ʻUkulele Puapua has expanded both as an internet store and a retail store to include virtual and in-person lessons as well as local and virtual performances. We carry a wide variety of quality ʻukuleles which are made in Hawaiʻi, Japan, Europe, and all over the world. Our customers are as diverse as our ukulele selections, ranging from people who are about to try the ʻukulele for the first time to world-renowned professional ʻukulele players.  

aNueNue (pronounced as AA-Nuw-eh-NUW-eh) means rainbow in Hawaiian. The "Ke Ali'i Anuenue", or Rainbow Chief, is the guardian spirit and one of the best known Hawaiian petroglyphs. The arc above the Rainbow Chief's head radiates wisdom and power and shoulders responsibility. Ke Ali'i Anuenue is the keeper of the land and its people. At aNueNue USA, we harness the Rainbow Chief's spirit and feel that we are all responsible for protecting Mother Earth.

Founded in 2020, aNueNue USA founders Kalei Gamiao and Corey Fujimoto share the same philosophy as aNueNue Music's main founders Johnson Liao. Both Kalei and Corey are well-known virtuoso in Hawaii, they strive to carry the aNueNue vision worldwide by providing superbly handcrafted instruments by experienced and well-respected luthiers.  Anuenue USA is based in Honolulu, Hawaii and we pride ourselves in delivering personalized customer service and quality instruments worldwide. 

Handwritten Aloha, a boutique art and calligraphy design studio, highlights Lisa Menor Millers art, which includes oil, acrylic and watercolor painting and resin art, often combined with modern and/or italic calligraphy. Lisa also creates, designs and digitizes artwork for commission, reproduction and retail products..

Aloha Mai Kakou,

     ‘O Kimo Lupekapukeahomakali’i Adams ko’u inoa. Ke noho nei au ma Kane’ohe, make alanui ‘O William Henry. My huaka’i journey began in the year of 2010 at Kaiaulu ‘O Ko’olau also known as Windward Community College. In 2015 I completed my Associate Degree in Hawaiian Studies, and took interest in Native Hawaiian Plants. I studied under the direction of my Kumu La’au Jeff Preble. He has a passion for his knowledge in the importance of saving Native Hawaiian Plants. How to propagate to educate especially on plants that are on the endangered list. 

In 2016 Ka Ulu La’au was born and I began to have a much better understanding on passing my ‘ike to help save Native Hawaiian Plants. Like my ancestors passed their knowledge to us. I want to do the same for our children. With that said we ALL can do our kuleana to contribute to saving some of the rarest plants in the world.
