My huaka’i journey began in the year of 2010 at Kaiaulu ‘O Ko’olau also known as Windward Community College. In 2015 I completed my Associate Degree in Hawaiian Studies, and took interest in Native Hawaiian Plants.

He has a passion for his knowledge in the importance of saving Native Hawaiian Plants. How to propagate to educate especially on plants that are on the endangered list.
In 2016 Ka Ulu La’au was born and I began to have a much better understanding on passing my ‘ike to help save Native Hawaiian Plants. Like my ancestors passed their knowledge to us. I want to do the same for our children. With that said we ALL can do our kuleana to contribute to saving some of the rarest plants in the world.
